When the sun goes down on the Lion City, Singapore turns it up a notch with some quality nightlife options that go beyond your standard bars and clubs. Get the famous Singaporean hawker experience at Boon Tat Street. Coined Satay Street’, the portion of Boon Tat Street, adjacent to Lau Pat Sat food centre, is closed to traffic between 7pm-2am every night to allow hungry visitors to have a wander. Pick your mouth-watering delight from various stalls and enjoy your meal under the stars.

Where to shop

Shopaholics, rejoice. Singapore is exactly the place you want to be. Shopping centres like Chinatown and the Mustafa Centre in Little India are open 24 hours. International luxury brand flagship stores like Louis Vuitton and Gucci line its famous Orchard Street. And for the less mainstream, the edgy and spirited Haji Lane offers independent boutiques and quirky small shops.

Where to sightsee

The Garden by the Bay is easily one of Singapore’s most photographed sites. Set over 101 hectares in the heart of the city, the attraction includes the Supertree Grove, a Children’s Garden and two enclosed domes.

After dark, The Cloud Forest becomes a misty and mysterious world where guests can enjoy spectacular views of the city. There’s also a Garden Rhapsody Sound and Light Show every night, which sees the Supertrees come to life with festive colours and accompanying music, all set against Singapore’s skyline.

Where to indulge

After you’ve exhausted yourself adventuring in the city, make your way to g.Spa on Guillemard Road.

This 24-hour spa offers a wide range of treatments. Dip your weary feet into a hot or cold waterjet pool for a makeshift reflexology massage, or sweat it out in the steam and sauna rooms. After the treatment, park yourself on a comfy couch in the relaxation lounge or tuck into g.Spa’s complimentary all-night buffet.
