The award winning CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La Hotel Sydney has just launched their Oud Renewal Therapy ($270) with high performance skin care brand Sodashi. The exclusive 90 minute therapy treatment uses Arabian Oud Oil to give a complete head-to-toe experience. The oil is known to release stored emotions and negativity, improve spiritual well-being, and ease muscular tension, aid digestion, detoxification and skin radiance. CHI, The Spa also offers a variety of massages, treatments and facials including an Executive Jet Lag Recovery, with a massage and hydrating facial ($290) for tired travellers.

Set in the opulent setting of QT Sydney, SpaQ offers low-key luxury with all the trimmings. The Metamorphosis package ($795) is six hours of pure bliss, including a hammam steam, a coffee and sea kelp contour wrap plus a massage, caviar facial and indulgent lunch. For the gentleman, the Barber Shop offers you a fresh shave and a clean cut complete with complimentary glass of Chivas Regal.

Located in the Four Seasons, this Endota Spa takes the franchise to the next level, with treatments designed with efficiently in mind. Their power program facials are designed to add radiance, replenish or restore skin over a program of three targeted treatments (starting from $510), while the jet lag relief package rolls together relaxation massage, body exfoliation and a foot bath to eradicate airline-induced kinks.

There are six treatment rooms that cater for singles or couples as well as a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Choose from a variety of facial treatments including Dermalogica, Glycolic, HydroPeptide and Hydro-microdermabrasion, with the usual manicures and pedicures, tinting and waxing on offer, too.

The Darling Spa

Located on level two of The Star’s hotel, The Darling Spa offers a range of massages, facials and signature treatments. Enjoy the four-hour Urban Escape ($660), which includes a body scrub, hydrating body wrap and a 90 minute full body massage. Tailored for men, the high performance facial ($240) promises smooth-as skin after a deep brush cleanse and intense enzyme peel. The Darling Spa uses a variety of products from La Prairie and ESPA and have two exclusive couples suites and a Moroccan hammam chamber.

Orchard Spa

There’s nothing more revitalising than a body scrub and if you’re pressed for time, Orchard Spa can have you scrubbed and ready to go in just 20 minutes flat and for only $30. The treatment uses pure dry lemon, organic lemon oil, sugar and a mix of pre-blended essential oils. If things are a little stressful at work, pop in for a stress relief massage and choose a 45 minute, 60 minute or 90 minute session (starting from $105). Orchard Spa also offers an anti-aging facial ($158) and a luxury filorga botox facial ($188), which restores firmness, smooths wrinkles and uses a gel-based neck and collagen mask.

Set in the lavish surrounds of The Langham Sydney, The Day Spa by Chuan drowns out all noise of the city surrounds to set you up for maximum relaxation. Their Chuan Yu Facial ($240) uses an Ancient Gua Sha technique that scrapes on meridian points and increases circulation. Champagne and Gold Indulgence ($755) – their longest spa package – offers almost five hours of indulgence, including a manicure, pedicure and a light lunch alongside a glass of Laurent-Perrier, post revitalising massage and facial.

Alysium Spa

For the tired couple that just need a short break, Alysium Spa in the Hilton Sydney offer the best couple’s massage in the city, with complimentary use of the hot spa, sauna and heated pool. The spa menu includes a hot stone massage, shiatsu, deep tissue and remedial massages, fluid retention body wraps and the decadent spa for couples ($495) – a 90 minute treatment that includes a power facial and aromatherapy massage. They use Payot products for men, facials and body.
